Anonymous breached into the website of United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and leaked a trove of personal information of 1415 officials.
While the United Nations Climate Conference (Cop21) is taking place in Paris, France, the online hacktivist Anonymous is protesting against the arrests of peaceful protesters marching against the Climate-related policies in the country’s capital.
29 of Nov, 208 protesters were arrested by the police and this is something Anonymous is not happy with. So to mark its protest the group breached into the official website of UNFCCC exploiting simple SQL vulnerability and got accesses to a trove of personal information of registered users and officials from hundreds of countries around the world.
A hacktivist claiming to be behind the attack on the UNFCCC website revealed to Hackread that the arrest of 317 protesters in Paris provoked the attack on the UNFCCC website, revealing that the leak of data is more effective than simply defacing a site.
"We could deface the site, but that won't hurt them, we know data leak will and does so there's more to come," the Anonymous member said. "These hacks are not just against police brutality, these are also against COP21 to support Global Climate March."
We are fighters for internet freedom. This site is only dedicated to reporting news about Anonymous.

Take all your money from your bank account, don’t use your credit card, pay cash and change your future. Show the Big Bankers that we don’t need their debit cards, we don’t need their credit cards, we don’t need their loans, and we don’t need them. Let’s show them that we are the 99% and we can beat them. It is that easy.

Anonymous’ #OpDeathEaters Targets High Profile Pedosadists
Prince Andrew, as witnessed in the main stream media this week, has been named in U.S. court documents filed as an alleged perpetrator in the sex slave lawsuit. American Investment Banker Jeffrey Epstein, who is claimed to have been the instigator of sexually abusing women when they were minors, was convicted to an eighteen month sentence in 2008, he has since served. Although Prince Andrew has been photographed with his arm around one of the minors at the time, and visited Epstein after his release from prison, Buckingham Palace has issued a firm denial of such an incident occurring.
This news comes at a time when Operation Death Eaters is in full swing. Operation Death Eaters or known as the Twitter movement #OpDeathEaters, is associated with Anonymous; waging a war against high profiles associated with pedosadist (a preferred term over pedophile) rings. Those that are targeted are those who see themselves above society, who are highly powerful, and who appear to be untouchable by common law.
The Westminster Pedophile Ring is one of many cases where Operation Death Eaters has actively pursued and sought truth, in order to end the hideous crimes concealed behind the British elite. In fear of these investigations being bungled over time, the operation’s objectives are clear and simple: source public information before it disappears, push for independent enquiry, and offer support to witnesses and the victims where needed.

Anonymous breached into the servers of the Canadian government
In retaliation over the approval of the C-51 anti-terror law http://www.rqap.gouv.qc.ca http://www.mess.gouv.qc.ca http://www.cneae.gouv.qc.ca/ have been hacked. The Québec Parental Insurance Plan’s Centre, The Ministère du Travail, de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale (MTESS) and le site de la Commission nationale d’examen sur l’assurance-emploi.
The anti-terror Bill C-51 that provides Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) immense powers as it can violate digital privacy of any one at any time in the name of countering terrorism. This campaign by Anonymous shows there is no need of such a bill to violate digital privacy of any kind, it shows that the bill is a fail as is the Canadian security of there own people’s privacy online.
This is the fifth cyber attack on Canadian government website conducted by Anonymous. On June 17, Anonymous launched an attack against the Canadian senate and government of Canada websites in protest against the passing of bill C-51. On June 18, the hacktivists shut down the online official portal canada.ca, Department of Finance and Treasury Board, the department responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties of the federal public service. On June 20, Anonymous hacked and defaced the Brotherhood of Police Officers of Montreal FPPM. On June 23, Anonymous hacked and defaced the official website of Montreal Police Union, leaving a video message against the bill C-51. Anonymous Philippines Hacks Chinese Govt. Websites over Territorial Disputes
The Filipino front of online hacktivist Anonymous has managed to hack and deface numerous websites of Chinese government and commercial sector as method to record protest against alleged increasing aggression of Beijing in the disputed territory of West Philippine Sea.
The Filipino group of hackers is called Anonymous Philippines that became notorious for hacking top websites including their own government. The group added a page on every hacked Chinese website displaying this message.
"Many of you are aware of the oppressive acts of the Chinese Government over the South China Sea or West Philippine Sea. Their claims over the said area is nothing but mere assumption and without solid proof. Once again, we must gather our brothers and sisters to stand against this tyranny. Others may think this action does nothing, but so does sitting around while waiting for something to happen. We have a voice, and we will use it to make a stand. We will say no against this oppression for we care about our country. To the Government of China, stop the reclamation, do not put or establish any structure on that location thinking or claiming that you are the owner. Considering that there is no final agreement between both and other parties."

#FreeBB: US Hacktivist Pursued by FBI for Exposing Illegal Operations
The US Justice Department (DOJ) aggressively attempted to indict journalist and hacktivist leader Barrett Brown before charging him because his wiki-site had exposed illegal FBI operations, Brown told Sputnik from a Texas prison on Wednesday.
Brown, who is in the middle of serving a five-year prison sentence on hacking-related charges, founded echelon2.org to allow whistleblowers to submit leaks related to illegal US intelligence contracting practices, the journalist said.
“That was the original subject of interest, our revealing of illegal operations by companies, the DOJ and the FBI. So, that was what this is all about. echelon2.org, our wiki, where we keep this information in which we make public these findings that was listed in the search warrant,” Brown said.

Anonymous wants humanity to go into outer space and ‘explore other worlds’
Greetings citizens of the world,
There's been a lot in the news lately; From threats of war, to future space endeavors. Two very different ends of the spectrum with vastly different consequences for humanity. While politicians bicker over power plays by opposing nations here on Earth, we continue to face many threats from beyond this world.
The unfortunate truth is that while our generation may survive the next 100 years... it's only a matter of time till humanity as a whole faces catastrophe on a global scale. We occupy one tiny world, around a single star out of billions, in a single galaxy out of trillions in the observable universe. That alone shows how fragile our species really is.
Thus we come to a realization, and an inevitability; Earth cannot remain our only home forever. Some of the voyagers we set forth to the farthest reaches of the galaxy will lose contact with us, and we'll never hear from them again in our life time. Nevertheless, our legacy will live on through them as they colonize new worlds across the stars...
While we can ensure the survival of humanity through migration & colonization, we can also help ensure the survival of Earth through unification. As we unite to explore other worlds, we'll in turn find ourselves securing our own. Earth will always be our homeworld, and as such it will always hold a special place in our hearts. While we don't know what the future might hold, we do know one thing for certain; it will be much brighter with humanity united.
If we continue on our current course, our mutual destruction is ensured; so some may ask why we continue to have wars and fight amongst ourselves? Humans are influenced by their cultures and many other factors growing up. From what their parents believed, to what school and religion teaches them. With that in mind, it's no wonder with over 270 religions, 196 countries, and with modern society being derived from thousands of different cultures... that people tend to bump heads on worldly views.
Nonetheless, those differences are what makes humanity so unique! Rather than being used to divide us, they are precisely what should be bringing us together. From art, to food, and even technology, those differences in culture make humanity... and that's what should be celebrated. Every year we do share in a celebration, people from all over the world come together to celebrate the new year. We stand together and share in our cultures, and for one day we are united as a planet.
Now we must channel that same energy and use it into coming together again; not for personal gain, not for the promise of money, or fame, but to embark in the greatest journey humanity has ever made. It took just 12 years to go from launching the first artificial satellite, to landing humans on the moon and returning them back to Earth safely. In the 43 years since Apollo 17 humanity has never gone back, nor accomplished a greater manned mission... Not for a lack of money, nor a lack of technology... but because priorities changed and collectively humanity no longer has the drive to venture beyond Earth.
With that being said, the direction and future of humanity itself is on the line, and our priorities must be clear. Due to the theory of special relativity, interstellar travel is possible within our lifetime, and entirely doable with technology that on a much smaller scale already exists today. Therefore the choice is now entirely up to you! Will we unite as a species to ensure the survival of the human race and explore the unknown? Or will we continue to fight each other and play Russian roulette until all the chambers are loaded?
We are Anonymous,
We are Legion,
We can Forgive,
Though we shall
Never Forget,
Expect us!

#FreeLorax: Anonymous Member Prosecuted
The Australian government had proposed a controversial security law that is expected to pass. The proposed bill will require ISP’s to store their users activity online for a period of two years. After taking out the personally identifiable data, which may have included members of the Australian government, Anonymous released the data to demonstrate that if an ISP as large and trusted as AAPT can’t keep it’s own data secure, it will be unable to keep their customers data secure under the proposed laws.
During Bennett’s court appearance in December of 2014, the prosecution asked to delay the hearing saying that they needed more time to complete their report because the amount of work required was “quite large” and it involved “vast amounts of digital data and telephone intercepts”. The Judge then delayed Bennett’s hearing until March 4th. The hearing was delayed once again due to the prosecution asking for one-week adjournment to come up with new charges. On the Friday before March 4th, the prosecutors revealed that the primary charges against Bennett, hacking the AAPT would most likely be dropped.
"Hey Australia, there are much bigger fish to fry than one Anon radio host who wanted to make a difference #FreeLorax pic.twitter.com/vIh85Fe7wy"
- Anonymous (@AnonyOps) March 7, 2015
It is believed that Bennett has been under full investigation since 2010, long before the AAPT hacking incident. One of the charged Bennett’s counsel believes will be brought against him is the “Heartbleed Vulnerability Testing for Cancer Support W.A. 2014.” this stems from a vulnerability test created by Bennett to test his employer’s servers (Cancer Support W.A.) for Heartbleed vulnerabilities. That test put the CRM that Bennett helped build at significant risk.

Anonymous reveals list of ISIS-linked Twitter accounts
“This is historic amongst the digital world as it’s the first time these groups have come together for something this large,” a member of Anonymous involved in the operation said.
“Usually they are very closed off and not willing to work outside of their circles but this has become so large of a problem they’re willing to form an alliance for what is seen as a greater good,” the source said.
“The outcome of hundreds of hackers across all three major groups is the largest compiled and verified list ever to be released to the public,” it said.
The list is part of #OpISIS, a campaign launched earlier this year to disrupt ISIS’ activities on the Internet.
#OpISIS has already disrupted nearly 1,000 website.

Operation ISIS - CALLING ALL ANON SUPPORTERS!
Many individuals have showed an amazing amount of support in regards to Operation ISIS and have asked how they can contribute to our cause. The steps below can be used to track Islamic State accounts and their websites.
1- Locating an Islamic State Twitter account
If you are new to this locating an Islamic State militant account can prove to be difficult however after locating your first account you will be able to find thousands more following these steps. ISIS militants and their supporters feed off of attention and publicity commonly using Twitter hash tags such as #IslamicState among others. Run a Twitter search using this hash tag and you will find your first Islamic State account. If you are still having difficulty locating an account Twitter search #CtrlSec or #OpISIS
2- I have located my first Islamic State Twitter account
Now that you have located your first Islamic State Twitter account you will now be able to collect many more and form a vast network of information. With the account you initially located review all of their following and followers collecting Twitter account names as you move forward. When you are collecting account names you must retrieve their Twitter ID by visiting http://gettwitterid.com/ If you do not collect the account ID they can easily change their account name to evade you as they commonly do once detected. As you are collecting Islamic State Twitter accounts check each bio and their tweets for website URLS and log the information. With the data you have compiled visit http://pastebin.com and publish a paste of your findings.
3- I have a list of Islamic State Twitter accounts and URLS.
Now that you have collected this information you can take action against them by reporting them to Anonymous, authorities and Twitter. If your paste link contains Islamic State Twitter accounts you can tweet your paste making sure to use the hash tag #CtrlSec so the corresponding operatives can collect your link and terminate the accounts. If your paste link contains Islamic State website URLS tweet them using the hash tag #GhostSec so their operatives can collect intelligence and disable the website. If you have concerns for your personal safety you can alternatively email us with your information at ghostec@riseup.net using a anonymous mailer service such as http://anonymousemail.me
Your contributions to our cause are immensely appreciated and this could never be achieved without your unyielding support.
We are the ghosts that you have created.

Barrett Brown: Sentenced 63 Months For Posting Public Hack Link To Chat Room
In a message released almost 2 days ago at the time of this writing, Quinn Norton, former partner of Aaron Swartz, has made an announcement saying that she will go first in stepping away from security journalism. It is in relation to the incarceration of journalist Barrett Brown for posting a link; on the matters of journalism, and the “murky” waters that security reporters and journalists face.
It seems the case and sentencing (relating to the private intelligence firm, Stratfor, which hacker, Jeremy Hammond would later receive ten years for that leak.) of Barrett Brown, who also had connections to Anonymous until 2011, has resonated throughout the hacker/security journalist community. Quinn Norton is stepping back from the journalism that helped establish her career – out of fear of incarceration herself, until legislation reflects that she is not a criminal.
Originally, Barrett Brown had been charged with posting an archived but publicly available credit card link of Hammonds’, relating to the private intelligence Stratfor hack, in a chat room. The felony charge was dropped, but according to Norton who was witness at the court proceedings, was picked up again as a “sentencing enhancement by the prosecution.” This is considered relevant conduct by the legal system, irrespective of case, according to Norton.
It is an interesting case to watch unfold. But unfortunately for Brown, he’ll be watching it from his prison cell as he serves his 63 month sentence handed down by a federal judge in Dallas this week. He was also ordered to pay $890000 in restitution and fines.
Admitting, Norton concedes that the actions of Barrett Brown were wrong on two counts. He crossed the line as a journalist posting the link, and he did cross the line when he threatened another man when he made a post on YouTube. But this isn’t the heart of the matter, according to Norton, who suggests that the government was utterly wrong in laying charges for copying and pasting a publicly available link in the capacity as a journalist, to a chat room.
As a response to the sentencing, Barrett did rebuke the sentencing as setting a “dangerous precedent.” But he remained upbeat, stating sarcastically “The US government decided today that because I did such a good job investigating the cyber-industrial complex, they’re now going to send me to investigate the prison-industrial complex.”
At one point, Barrett, who has written for the likes of The Guardian, Huffington Post and Vanity Fair, was facing over a 100 year sentence, but several chargeswere dropped by prosecutors. He was also responsible for founding Project PM, a think-tank dedicated to investigating companies involved in abuses in the area of surveillance; according to Rolling Stone a “a $56 billion industry that consumes 70 percent of the U.S. intelligence budget.”
In a response to these convictions, Norton and others have stepped back from hacker related security journalism. Norton is one. Ladar Levison, who ran the Lavabit email service used by Edward Snowden, NSA whistleblower, was also in court for Brown’s verdict. Levison closed down his service rather than hand over to the FBI encrypted keys to Lavabit.
“It’s the type of verdict which leads honorable men to take up the quill and pen strong statements. I fear that for some people words will not be sufficient,” Levison told the Guardian.
