Digital Petition: Support grows for Pirate Bay co-founder locked in solitary confinement

Some who’ve long-fought for internet freedom have put theirs at risk. The Pirate Bay founder currently in a high-security facility in Denmark is one of them. An online petition of support has become the country’s second-largest digitally-collected appeal list, with over 100,000 signatures.

Gottfried Svartholm was extradited to Denmark last November, after being charged of infiltrating a Danish security base. Since then he’s been locked up in solitary confinement under constant surveillance, and with severely limited outside-contact. RT managed to speak to his mother.
